I first heard about this story years ago when Jordan told me she'd written a novel for her oldest daughter Clara. What an incredible gift to give your kids, I thought.
Then years later how amazing to hear that she'd gotten it published!
And now the celebration can begin for a work so fantastic, out for the world to read and re-read.
I'm not kidding when I say this feels like a modern Narnia. Your kids are going to love it.
I'm so honoured to have worked on something so grand. First watching the characters come to life as my hubby directed the illustrations. But I also got to produce the audiobook version which you can download below.
So as I captured this incredible celebration for my friend as she celebrated the culmination of a project that was literal "years in the making," I was so happy.
When you build into your community, your community also builds into you. And you can see that Jordan has built into her community with the multitude that was there celebrate her.

The Story Writer
Emelin, from the village of Olam, is eleven years old and has a mind of her own, thank you very much. After a strange visit from the Tooth, she and her best friend Frank are sent on a grand adventure to stop the Dark and Evil Being from doing a terrible something. Along the way, Emelin is told she is in a story written by the Storywriter. However, this is ridiculous and can’t possibly be true because Emelin writes her own story, and no one is going to tell her otherwise.
